The earth gives us what we need: minerals, nutrients, fruits, vegetables, and vitamins-you just have to know where to look for what you need. For example, vitamins can be absorbed from certain foods and the sun specifically helps with the body’s need for Vitamin D. It is important to keep this in mind.
Also, January is Thyroid Awareness Month!!! I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in 2007. When I first learned that I had a nodule I was told not to be alarmed, many women have them. I had the biopsy done and they said abnormal cells showed up and they would remove the nodule and part of the Thyroid. Only two days after my surgery the doctor contacted me and said it was cancer and they needed to go back in and take the rest of the thyroid. My surgeries were a week apart. You can imagine that I had some concerns, but not as many as the day I heard the word “cancer.”
Since my surgeries and not having a Thyroid, I have developed problems I used to never have. I am sensitive and allergic to chemicals that all my life I have used. The good thing about this is I have a level of control over them.
My symptoms to these allergies included: fatigue, weight gain, constipation, aches, feeling cold, dry skin, thinning and lifeless hair, fluid retention, depression, mental slowing, irregular menstrual cycles, memory loss, confusion and carpal tunnel syndrome.
My most recent path is to change my diet and what I use on my body. My journey is not over it continues daily. I am so thankful I found MM and their awesome products. I cannot say enough good things about them. I did extensive research and this is the company I decided to go with. They specialize in hair and body care products. However, many of their products can be used on other parts of the body or for homemade spa products. They are cruelty free, gluten free, natural raw vegan products. I love sharing what I have learned and found with this company.
