When he returned to the U.S., Anthony was ready to put down some roots--permanently. He moved to Laguna, CA in 1979 and opened his own private salon in the house. People from all around the world came to get their hair cut and colored by Anthony Morrocco, as well as purchase his specialty shampoos, conditioners, and elixirs to solve anything from dandruff to non-genetic hair loss.

At first, Anthony was still compounding all of his products by hand in his home; however, due to the demand, eventually it was necessary to contract out the production of the products with a reputable and well-researched facility that would adhere to the same standards and schedule of production in accordance with the lunar cycle. These mass-produced revitalizers still weren't available directly to the public or on the internet but were instead sold in health food and specialty stores.

Starting in 2002, Anthony was able to bring the production of products back in-house and make them available to the general public online! The first official Morrocco Method factory was opened in 2002 in San Luis Obispo, California. Morrocco Method was the first in the world to set new standards in the marketplace of fine, organic hair care.

This allowed for the five element shampoos, and eventually other products, to be created from his formulas, but at a larger scale while still under his supervision. Although MM ingredients are sourced from all over the world to find the most potent, organic herbs, oils, and plants, everything always has, and always will be hand-made in batches in the USA.
