5 DIY Mud Masks
In celebration of National Mud Pack Day, which is September 30th each year, we've put together some easy-to-make mud masks that you can make at home! All of these recipes contain bentonite clay, a cheap and plentiful clay with so many great benefits. If you have particularly sensitive skin, try substituting plain organic Greek yogurt for the bentonite clay. When using honey, we always recommend that you use raw organic honey, and if you can purchase local honey even better.
Morrocco Method Zen Detox
We might be biased, but our Zen Detox Hair and Scalp Masque is also great to use as a face mask! From spot-treating acne to all-over oil reduction and pore tightening, slather some of your hair mask onto your face and neck the next time you're doing a Zen Detox treatment!
2-3 TB of Zen Detox
1/2-3/4 cup of water
Combine Zen Detox with water in a bowl to create a paste. If the Zen Detox is too hard upon first mixing, cover with a towel and let it sit for twenty minutes to absorb more of the water. It will be come easier to mix and spread. Apply to your face/neck for 20 minutes and rinse with cool water.
