The Fall Equinox
If you’re a follower of our Lunar Hair Chart, then you’re probably aware of the upcoming Fall Equinox. The Lunar Hair Chart prescribes cutting your hair at least four times a year to maintain hair and scalp health, and the Fall Equinox (September 23rd & 24th for 2023) is the perfect time to do so, as it is the ideal date to cut for Root Work.
The equinoxes and solstices are powerful times, both scientifically and spiritually. Your hair responds to certain cycles of the moon when cut, and during these powerful times your it receives the maximum benefit of the lunar cutting goals.
Why Cut for Root Work?
Cutting for root work shocks the entire growth cycle and reinvigorates hair at the follicle and scalp level. Much like the enriched soil of a plant, a healthy scalp provides a good foundation for naturally healthy hair.
The phrase “at the root of. . .” exists for a reason! Root work is important, and it is a great goal if you want to improve the overall health of your hair. See our Lunar Root Work Package which includes our Sea Essence Shampoo and our Euro Oil: both products condition and help restore the scalp to a healthy pH.
