Pine Shale Shampoo is a non-foaming formulation of high-quality ancient shale oil that works to nourish and heal the hair and scalp. This natural shampoo uses the large reservoirs of rich shale oil underneath the Earth's surface (from the decomposition of large forests of ferns and evergreens millions of years ago) to thoroughly clean the hair and scalp. This sulfate-free shampoo is particularly helpful for people with dandruff, itchy scalps, and inflammation as it is the most restorative of all our shampoos.

How To Use +

Perfect shampooing requires washing twice. The first wash loosens dust, dead skin cells, and excess oils from the hair and scalp while flushing most of it from your hair. The second wash allows the ingredients of the shampoo to reach the scalp, and to nourish the hair using a longer scalp massage.

Dilute: Our shampoos are super concentrated. Dilute the shampoos 1:1 with water for easier application.

First Wash: Apply shampoo to wet hair, massage lightly to hair and scalp. It won't lather. Rinse.

Second Wash: Apply shampoo again, massage longer to stimulate blood flow to scalp and hair. Rinse again. Follow with Morrocco Method conditioners, if necessary, for added hydration/oil reduction.

Wonderful shampoo set

I routinely purchase the travel shampoo set and love the scents and conditioning of these shampoos. It's like a treatment more than a wash.

When I first started using these products, was not sure if it was for me. I found instructions and further information, tutorials, began understanding that my hair had to detox the way my body does.

Now I won't go back to anything else. I bottle does last me a bit longer I suppose than others, but I found a way to use it so the cost is not prohibitive. A little goes a long way.

The shampoo and conditioners have give me a healthier head of hair. That is not easy with an autoimmune disease. I get compliments on how shiny it is.

Worth the learning and it is simple to use.

I love this shampoo!

I actually tried using Morocco method about 5 years ago- but my hair didn’t seem to take to it then and I stopped after a few months.
(I think I may have used too much product at that time when I washed my hair- and washed my hair too frequently).
However, I gave the Morocco Method shampoos and conditioners another chance about 6 weeks ago- by following the washing instructions to the letter- and I have fallen in love with all five shampoos and the three conditioners. My hair is becoming more shiny and healthy. I noticed yesterday that two days after using Morocco method products my hair looks like I stepped out of a hair salon even though I do not blow dry or curl it. I am hooked on these products. 💜
