Ancient Ritual Hair Care

I'm 66 with 1a hennaed hair, and I've been using Morrocco Method's Earth Essence and Heavenly Essence exclusively for over two months, alternating between them. I was already using "clean" hair care products and soap-based shampoo bars, but I decided to try MM again (I'd used it years ago) to see if it could stop a horrible shed.

When I started using MM, my hair was coming out in handfuls when I showered. There was so much hair in the drain it was alarming. About a month after I started using these clay-based liquid shampoos, there was noticeably less shedding. Today, there are only a few strands in the drain, which is normal!

I shampoo every other day. At first, I mixed the shampoo 1:1 with water in a little bottle, but I've found that rubbing a small amount (dime-sized for the first wash, quarter-sized for the second) between my palms and distributing it over water-saturated hair gives me the same great results. I massage the product well into my scalp, then don't "shampoo" the length directly - I just make sure the residue runs through the length as I rinse. I also use the residue as a face cleanser!

With either of these shampoos, I don't need conditioner. Detangling is easy, and my hair is soft, silky, and manageable. My husband trimmed my ends today (I'm growing out a graduated bob to waist length) and said, "Your hair looks thick." You can see in my photos how much scalp show-through I had before - now it's thickening up with tons of baby hairs.

I can't imagine going back to conventional shampoos EVER. Please, please, please... NEVER stop making these products. I'm happily regrowing my hair to waist length thanks to Morrocco Method!

Bought the sampler pack shampoos. My first shampoo hair feels lighter and fluffier, instead of heavy and dull.

I've been using MM for over a decade. I buy a shampoo set once a year and then wash my hair once a week(ish). I don't have a before and after but my stylist always compliments the condition of my hair. I get a lot of compliments on my hair.

Just to be clear this is a review of both the shampoo and conditioner because I've only used them together. I’ve used the winter solstice bars twice now and oh my goodness, I love them so much. Using bars is something I love so finding good ones like these is incredible. I have space heaters in my home which drains the air of all the moisture. As someone who has lived in a humid environment my whole life, my hair really doesn’t like it. This set has left my hair perfectly hydrated and amazingly not weighed down, it actually gave me a little bump of volume at the root that truly surprised me. I don’t think I’ll ever go another winter without these bars.

Reading some reviews I see people saying conditioner bars left their hair oily/weighed down, and I don’t know everyone’s personal experience, but I’ve noticed with the conditioner bars you really have to soak it out, not just let the water run over it. I cup my hair into a “birds nest” and let it float in a pool of water, you could use a bowl too, then I gently squeeze it out and repeat a few times. I also do not use conditioner on my roots. I hope that helps anyone struggling with it because I don’t think I’ll ever go another winter without these bars.

I was already a fan of the shampoo so I was very excited to try the conditioner. I was extremely happy with the results. The pictures I’ve uploaded were taken the day after I washed and conditioned my hair with the apple cider vinegar duo. No other products were used, I had even skipped oiling before washing. I’m so pleased, my heaters running in the house aren’t even bothering my hair today. I’m so happy to have this going into frizz season.

This has been the best hair product I have ever used. It keeps my hair stylish and shiny. It’s also a big plus that I don’t have to worry about chemicals hurting my health. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I have been using Morroco Method hair dye for years. After having breast cancer 10 years ago I became very careful with what I put in and on my body. I went on a search for the safest and least toxic option I could find. Morroco Method fits the bill. It covers my gray hair beautifully and I never worry about toxic ingredients. I am so thankful for such a clean and affordable option ! It is the only hair dye I have ever used and I love it!

I do love my hair, I cannot get over how silky it is. Using the "traditional" products my hair never felt this silky.

I have been following the lunar hair care, and will keep doing so.. I am experimenting with the different hair care products.. Enjoying the look and feel of my hair. My scalp as well, not dry and itchy.

Started off with dark - brown hair and it came out a beautiful dark red color! I would definitely purchase from this company again. I wish it would let me post before and after photos!!

I have been using Morrocco Method henna on my hair since 2018 and I have no intentions of stopping! It produces the most beautiful dark, cool brown color and covers grey wonderfully. I used to buy dark brown but now I exclusively use medium brown for a slightly lighter shade similar to by natural color.

I mixed 1/3 Cassia ( blonde Henna) and 2/3 Red Henna and I love the vibrant color!

I decided to cut all my hair on May of this year. I decided to use the shampoo bar to see how fast my hair will grow. It’s September 26, and my hair has grown fast. Don’t mind the white hairs lol. 34 years old and my hair feels really nice and soft. I don’t itch like I used to before. I’m planning to grow my hair long using this product. Can’t wait to show you guys the results.

My hair is always soft and silky.

I love using these shampoos. After the initial detox, my hair looks better, I get compliments on how great it looks.
